Prop Firm Reviews: Count Independent Evidence, Not Repeated Posts
Community reviews can help identify questions to investigate, but the number of posts is not the number of independent experiences. Define the review unit before making a comparison. Keep the product, date and actual evidence visible.

Choose the unit of analysis
A useful unit might be one identified experience for one product and period. Save the original source and mark quotations, syndication and updates. Do not count a shared screenshot as a separate payment each time another person republishes it.
Separate comments about registration, evaluation, support and received payment. A positive interface experience does not establish a completed withdrawal, and an unexplained complaint does not establish its cause. The review should preserve what can and cannot be verified.
Audit a fictional twelve-post sample
Suppose twelve posts contain four copies of one original story, three distinct first-person reports, two questions and three unsupported promotional comments. Deduplicating the four copies leaves one source story, not four independent outcomes. The three first-person reports still require evidence and comparable scope.
You now have four candidate experience records, two questions and three promotional comments. That is not a representative pass-rate sample. No complete population, uniform follow-up period or independently verified outcome has been supplied. A percentage calculated from all twelve posts would hide these differences.
| Original category | Post count | After source reconciliation |
|---|---|---|
| Copies of one story | 4 | 1 candidate experience |
| Distinct first-person reports | 3 | 3 candidate experiences |
| Questions | 2 | 2 questions, no outcome |
| Promotional comments | 3 | 3 unsupported claims |
Use matched scenarios before deciding
This site’s existing comparison resource keeps assumptions equal across scenarios. Apply the same rule to review products: compare the same stage, market and rule period, and disclose unresolved differences. Do not assign a score for information that has not been collected.
